There's a point in most careers where expertise stops being enough. The thinking is there. The knowledge is there. But the ability to land it - in meetings, in presentations, in the moments that shape how people are seen - hasn't caught up yet. So the defaults take over:
These patterns don't fix themselves. The Shift is a powerful two-month programme that gives people the time to discover what's already working, build on it, test it in real situations between sessions and come back to refine it. By the final session, the change isn't something they've been taught. It's something they've lived.
The programme moves through four focused group workshops that follow a deliberate arc. It starts with awareness - the impact they're currently making, the best-practice impact that fits their natural communication style and the blocks and limiting beliefs that are keeping the gap open. From there, it moves into leadership communication for meetings and delivering trusted advice, then building persuasive pitches and presentations. The final session is a presentation - with the option to deliver to managers and senior stakeholders so the change is visible beyond the programme.
Alongside the workshops, four confidential 1:1 coaching sessions provide the space for close-up work on each participant's individual strengths, challenges and goals.
Running through the entire programme is a recorded development journey. Participants are recorded during practice elements in workshops and 1:1s - always privately, always reviewed 1:1 with the trainer. By the end, they can see the change, they have the evidence of their development and this means they can trust it.
For global organisations, The Shift brings teams together across regions and time zones - building the same standard of leadership communication wherever your people are based. For UK organisations, there is the option to deliver some or all of the programme in person.
